Hi teacher! It’s great that you and your class are participating in the Together Without Racism training. On this page, you’ll find tasks that you can use to examine racism-related topics together with your students.
Lessons and tasks
For teachers, we have planned tasks that together form content for two 45-minute lessons.
They can be held between the intro lesson and the final workshop (the best option for the process) or after the final workshop.
Please note! Instead of the entire lessons, you can also combine individual tasks with other lessons.
If questions or concerns arise from students during these tasks and exercises, and you would like for us to go through them in the workshop, please write them down and send them to us by email. If there are questions after the module, you can of course contact us then, too. We are happy to respond to the students’ questions and comments.

The lesson includes a video that examines the concept of racialisation (5:30 min). The video can also be shown separately. The video is in Finnish, but you can switch on English subtitles. The subtitles, however, are currently a bit hard to read, so here’s the script for both the videos.
Lesson 2.
Topics: Identity, diversity, anti-racist actions: friendship, listening, making a difference
The second lesson examines factors relating to friendship and social skills. It also deals with how we can tackle racism.
